Each year, millions of people worldwide are forced to flee their homes due to war, violence, and persecution in pursuit of refuge. The majority of these men and women hope to return one day to the lives they left behind, but some never will. The United States is uniquely positioned to welcome hundreds of thousands of refugees, and we need your help. Home for Refugees USA is partnering with Community Sponsorship Hub and Welcome.US in their recently launched initiative to mobilize 100,000 U.S. Citizens to sponsor refugees seeking safety in the United States.

Home for Refugees USA is calling on our communities to step up as sponsors and take action to support refugees seeking safety.

1. Learn more about sponsorship by attending one of our virtual, national Sponsor Info Sessions held on Tuesdays at 5pm PST/8pm EST. To RSVP email info@hfrusa.org. Join us to hear about how U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents can provide a pathway for Ukrainian, Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan Citizens and their immediate family members to escape and find shelter in the U.S.

2. Make a donation, which mobilizes our staff and volunteers working directly to address the most urgent needs of newcomers rebuilding their lives in communities across the country.
